Wow. What a case. Ive no clue how i should feel abt this. If there is forensic evidence of blackmail using photos and videos, both should be punished. On the other hand she willingly started the affair it seems. Or at the very least went to another man’s house, for whatever. In case this is just another affair gone wrong, we know nothing will happen to the woman.

It's not proven that the story she described is necessarily true considering the amount of fake cases going around these laws. But I would say that our Justice system treats women as kids like there is no accountability from their side, if the case is legit then she has my sympathy but what she did is not what a mature rational adult does. So this is a case of being drugged, raped and blackmailed by the male. The male promised marriage, and the girl (I believe due to Stockholm syndrome) believed the cunt and decided to divorce her husband. Only to find her abuser was making shit up. 

And the HC and SC are saying that she committed an offence by having an affair with the defendant, which is not a literal legal statement. And the false promise of marriage is illegal in India.   
  
If there is forensic or situational evidence, she should have a good standing. But I assume that there must be something else also up, since even SC decided to turn a blind eye.
